Turning insurance from a ‘grudge purchase’ to something you can feel good about!

2nd July 2018

We wouldn’t believe you if you said you woke up one day thinking ‘Yes! Today is the day I’m going to treat myself to some insurance.’ Most of us know that insurance against the things you want to protect is wise to have, but we also know that it is wholeheartedly in the ‘grudge purchase’ category! Why? Because we all want to see a return from where we put our hard-earned money.

A new sofa? You can sit on it. A holiday? You’ve got the memories. But when it comes to life insurance, critical illness cover, income protection or healthcare, you kind of hope that you never have to actually claim on the money that you’ve spent paying out for it each month…

Yep, we know our market is a strange kettle of fish, but we also want to show you that there really is a return on the money you invest. No, it might not be a good tan and or a shiny car on the drive, but it is peace of mind. ‘Peace of mind’ might feel like a throwaway term used by every man and his dog in the insurance industry, but there’s a good reason for it: it’s the truth! And, to be quite honest with you, there just isn’t a better way to say it.

To help you turn that ‘grudge purchase’ into something you can feel glad of, we’ve compiled a little list of the return you can guarantee from the money you spend on your policy:

+ Peace of mind that your family will be financially stable should you pass away

+ Peace of mind that your family will be able to keep their current standard of living should you become ill and no longer able to work

+ Peace of mind that your debts will be cleared and not passed on to your next of kin

+ Peace of mind that you can keep a roof over your head and pay your bills should you become ill or incapacitated

+ Peace of mind that, should you become ill, you can wholly focus on your health and getting well, in the knowledge that your finances are taken care of

See! While it’s certainly not shiny and glamorous, peace of mind does go a long way. It’s a return on your investment that goes well beyond the material: it gives you the security that those you love won’t have anything to contend with beyond caring for you if you should become ill, or grieving for you if you should sadly pass away.

You can’t put a price on that.
